Today we invite you to discover Coudelaria Alter Real in
Alter do Chão / Alentejo.

It is a stud farm where horses are treated, where they
breed, where they are checked about their potential
(Equestrian School) .

Stallions Deposit

It consists of Lusitano stallions, (a national race) Arab,
Thoroughbred and Sorraia.

There are only two forms of these animals to enter within
this stud farm - or mares are from the Portuguese state
and after being tested are accepted as breeding stock,
or are purchased from private breeders, never before
seven years and must have an acceptable curriculum
to justify its acquisition by the state.
